Keyboard artist Ray Manzarek, Morrison's friend and co-founder of The Doors, played a midweek return engagement at the Whisky on July 3rd, which was the third anniversary of Morrison's death. After finishing a set of songs from is recent solo album, "The Golden Scarab", Manzarek told the audience, "A friend of mine disappeared three years ago." Manzarek then sang "Light My Fire", The Doors' first hit and Morrison's trademark song. Manzarek then introduced his friend Iggy Pop, who sang "LA Woman", "Maggie M'Gill" and "Back Door Man". Iggy told the crowd, "Jim Morrison died today. Jim Morrison sang like an angel. Now he's dead and I cry." One long time Doors fan present at the sold out show said Iggy's rendition of Morrison's songs was nearly perfect. According to that fan, "Morrison would have loved it. He was there that night."

· 1968, From a Roger Waters Interview: "Recently a movie has emerged of a Pink Floyd show in 1968, at the Royal Festival Hall. You see me building a table. Literally: while the others play on, I get to work with hammer and saw. After I have finished our road manager, Alan Styles, theatrically puts a tray with tea on the shaky table.  Then the others come to drink tea, and I put a small world receiver in front of a microphone, so that the public can hear to what the people in Bratislava are currently listening to. I completely forgot that act."   PM: Have 14 April 1969 footage but it contains none of the above.

· this is allegedly the 1970-08-08 Saint Tropez film broadcast on Pop2 on 1970-10-24, "Firstly, Pop2 on 24th October 1970, and a nice, fully live, full colour version of Careful With That Axe Eugene. Roger's hair is notably short - a strange thing to stick in the mind, I know! At one point, he gets some feedback during the whispered sequence, and shoots daggers (metaphorically) towards stage left, where the camera just happens to be. A great performance of the track, although there are no trademark explosions on stage with the exception of Nick's drumming which is extremely animated! The music and the picture in places don't match, which is a mild irritant, and the audience (if there was one) cannot be seen at any point. A great clip though."
